The Department of Small Business Management serves as a hub for scholarly research, innovation, and knowledge dissemination in entrepreneurship and small enterprise development at Makerere University Business School. This sub-community within the Institutional Repository supports the collection, preservation, and global visibility of academic and research outputs produced by faculty, students, and affiliated researchers. In line with the MUBS Institutional Repository Policy, the department promotes open access to knowledge, enhances research visibility, and contributes to national and international discourse on entrepreneurship, innovation, and small business growth. The repository ensures that all deposited works meet standards of academic integrity, metadata quality, and long-term digital preservation, making them accessible to a global audience.

New Research Uploads: The Department continues to expand its repository collections with recent dissertations and research outputs in entrepreneurship and small business management. Open Access Compliance: Faculty and postgraduate students are encouraged to deposit their work in line with institutional and funder open access requirements. Capacity Building: Ongoing training sessions are being conducted to support researchers in metadata submission, licensing, and repository use. Global Visibility: Repository content is indexed in international platforms, enhancing the visibility and impact of MUBS research outputs.
