They also indicated that there is a positive significant relationship between financial innovations and profitability of SACCOs in Fort Portal City (r=.638, p<.01). this implies that any positive change in knowledge management and financial innovations is associated with a positive change in profitability of SACCOs in Fort Portal City. The findings from the regression indicated that 43.4% (Adjusted R Square = .663) of variation in profitability of SACCOs in Fort Portal City is as a result of a combination of financial innovations and knowledge management (Interaction Term). This further implies that the remaining 56.6% is explained by other factors not considered in this study like political factors and climatic changes. It can therefore be recommended that SACCOs in Fort Portal City should integrate financial innovation and knowledge management strategies to enhance operational efficiency and member satisfaction. By leveraging financial innovations alongside effective knowledge practices, SACCOs can boost profitability and ensure long-term sustainability in a competitive environment.
