dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between team experience, project governance and project success in public- private partnership projects in Uganda focusing on Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono districts. The study focused on these specific objectives; to examine the relationship between team experience and project success, to examine the relationship between project governance and project success and examine the combined effect of team experience and project governance on project success. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted on a population of 141 private-public partnership projects from a sample size of 103 projects. Data was collected using self administered questionnaires that were hand delivered to the respondents. Overall, 92 usable questionnaires representing 89.3% response rate were collected for correlation and regression analysis. The validity and reliability analysis showed that the study variables least 0.7 and above. The analysis of data involved descriptive statistics for demographics, correlations and regression analyses for answering the research questions. The results revealed positive and significant relationships between the; team experience and project success (r = .636**, p<.01), and project governance and project success (r =.716**, p<.01). Based on the study findings, recommendations were given regarding the need to strengthen project governance and team experience so to enhance project success in public-private partnerships projects in Uganda
