dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between stakeholder management and project performance among European Union water funded projects in Uganda. The study was conducted using a cross sectional research design. Data was collected using a seld administered questionaire on a asample of 108 projects. the unit of inquiry was project managers and project officers. The results revealed a significant positive relationships between stakeholder interest and project performance, stakeholder influence and project performance as well as stakeholder management and project performance. The relationship between stakeholder power and project performance was found to be positive and insignificant. The heirrachical regression results showed stakeholder management as a good predictor (37.6%) of project performance and stakeholder interest being the strongest component amongst the rest under stakeholder management. The study recommended that managers should incoperate practices like dialogue opportunities and inclusive decision making practices among other to ensure effective stakeholder management among projects. The study concluded that there is need for research in other elements of stakeholder management other than the attributes and also in other projects other than water and sanitation.en_US
