A project report submitted to the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the award of the Bachelor of Information Technology Degree of Makerere University.
This study is about developing an online shopping cart system for a supermarket; it involved the use of interviews and observations to determine the requirements for the systems development. We were able to make the systems output meet with the stated objectives of the project. The system developed will facilitate convenience and efficiency in purchasing goods/items from a supermarket by a customer/customer.
