Abstract
The adoption of e-tax services in Mbarara has been a challenge. Despite the e tax services being of great importance in easing filing, paying of taxes and tracking the tax status, Mbarara city taxpayers have not responded well to adopting e-tax services (URA report, 2023). This is evidenced by the long queues at the Uganda Revenue Authority offices (Nakaweesi, 2022).
