dc.description | Vessel enhancement and extraction in Angiography is still in developing state as many important problems still remain to be solved. The computation procedure of vessels in angiography is a very important due to limited computational resources. Computational procedure based on multi-scale has received considerable attention from scientists. Multiscale approaches perform enhancement based on ima g e resolutions and structure sizes. Many contributions have been made on the problem of vessel enhancement multiscale computing of volume data sets but there has never been a head to head evaluation of these approaches. In this paper the various multi-scale vessel enhancement approaches are put in perspective through a head to head comparison of algorithms of the existing research and a generic framework for linear multiscale is presented. | |
