dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between organizational governance, inventory management practices and service delivery. In selected private hospitals in Mogadishu-Somalia. A cross-sectional quantitative design was used in the study. The unit of inquiry included any one person from senior management, one patient and a person in charge of managing inventories for the hospital. Questioners of 186 were distributed where 166 of them were returned by the respondents. Data were analysed using SPSS version 22.0 software with a focus on descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and regression analyses. The first objective explored the relationship between organizational governance and service delivery in selected private hospitals in Mogadishu-Somalia. In relation to this, the study found a significant a strong and positive relationship between organizational governance and service delivery. Organization governance was also a significant predictor for service delivery but positively influenced service delivery. The second objective explored the relationship between inventory management practices and service delivery in private hospitals in Mogadishu-Somalia. In relation to this, the study found a significant a strong and positive relationship between inventory management practices and service delivery. Further, the regression results showed that inventory management practices significantly predicted service delivery, although it positive affected service delivery. The third objectives explored the relationship between inventory management practices and organizational governance in private hospitals in Mogadishu-Somalia. In relation to this, the study found a significant a strong and positive relationship between organizational governance and inventory management practices. Organizational governance was a significant predictor for inventory management practices.
