dc.descriptionMental problems are common affecting 25% of people at some time during their lives and accounting for 12% of global burden of disease. In Uganda, 25% of the population over 15 years suffer from diagonosable mental disorder. There is an increase in reported increase of mental illness in Mukono District. Most of these cases report to health facilities late. The district is planning to increase the coverage of mental health services to community level.
