The study sought to establish the relationship between donor funding, stakeholder involvement, management communication and performance of donor funded projects. The study adopted across sectional and correlation quantitative design using a sample size 343 stakeholders from 7 projects which are implemented in four districts of Wakiso, Gomba, Masaka and Sembabule by different partners of Vi Agroforestry. The data were tested for reliability and validity, analyzed using SPSS version 21 and results presented based on the study objectives. The correlation coefficient analysis revealed positive and significant relationships between Donors funding and performance, Stakeholder involvement and performance of VI Agroforestry projects, Donors funding and management communication, Stakeholder involvement and management communication, Management communication and performance of VI Agroforestry projects which implies that when one variable is improved it leads to improvement of the other. Furthermore, the multiple regression analysis indicates that Donors funding, Stakeholder involvement combined with management communication have a greater influence on the performance of VI Agroforestry projects (Adj R2 of 0.257). However, it was further revealed that Stakeholder involvement doesn’t have a direct effect on performance f VI Agroforestry projects since if all are involved it hinders decision making. Therefore, The VI Agroforestry projects and other stakeholders should promote donor funding since it’s the key source of funding and also the project managers should ensure that there are other many ways created like looking for government support in order to promote more ways of funding the projects and ensuring their sustainability. In addition, management of VI agroforestry projects should also promote by all means proper management communication since its key in improving project performance. This can be done by Information disclosure and openness, Internal and external communication and Clarity in communication since this will improve performance of the projects.
