| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between absorptive capacity, SCF and SCP among health facilities in Kampala-Uganda A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted from a population of 300 health facilities using a sample size of 169 health facilities. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaires that were either hand delivered or emailed to respondents. Overall, filled questionnaires were received from 135 health facilities representing a response rate of 79.8% was attained for analysis. The analysis of data involved correlation and regression analysis for answering the research questions in accordance with the study objectives. The results revealed positive and significant relationships between; absorptive capacity and supply chain performance, absorptive capacity and supply chain flexibility and finally, supply chain flexibility and supply chain performance. Accordingly, the mediating findings indicated that supply chain flexibility partially mediates the relationship between absorptive capacity and supply chain performance. From the findings, discussion, conclusions and recommendations were drawn. | |
