Organizational resilience is crucial for civil society organization (CSO) success. This study investigated the relationship between stakeholder engagement, managerial competencies, and organizational resilience among CSOs in Jinja and Kamuli Districts. The study is based on the following research objectives: To investigate the relationship between stakeholder engagement and organizational resilience, to investigate the relationship between managerial competencies and Organizational resilience, and to investigate the joint effect of stakeholder engagement and managerial competencies on organizational resilience of CSOs in Uganda. This study used a cross-sectional design and a quantitative research approach. In this study, 291 questionnaires were distributed, of which only 223 were returned, representing a response rate of 76.6 percent. The quantitative data was analyzed using regression and correlation analysis. The results of the study show a positive relationship between stakeholder engagement, managerial competencies, and organizational resilience. The regression results showed that stakeholder engagement and managerial competencies predicted up to 30.3 percent of the observed variance in organizational resilience. The results showed that CSOs managers with basic skills, knowledge, and abilities promote organizational learning. It was also found that CSOs managers who find interaction and evaluation encourages organizational adaptability and resources. Government agencies should partner CSOs in implementing government programs to promote organizational resilience in CSOs.
