| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study was to establish the relationship between shared leadership, knowledge sharing and performance of livelihood projects implemented by NGOs in Obongi district. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey and correlational design for accurate estimate of the relationship between the variables. Slovin’s formulae by Krejcie and Morgan (1970) was used to determine the sample size of 29 projects. The researcher issued out 145 questionnaires to respondents per project obtained purposively and received 122 filled questionnaires from 25 projects, making a response rate of 84.1%. The findings showed a positive significant association between shared leadership and project performance. It also indicated a positive significant relationship between knowledge sharing and project performance. This implies that the level of shared leadership and knowledge sharing are associated directly with project performance. The regression analysis showed that shared leadership and knowledge sharing predict project performance by 29.7%. This study therefore recommends that the management and sponsors organize refresher trainings for implementers of livelihood projects on shared leadership and knowledge sharing as these variables improve project performance. | |
