The Department of Business Communications under the Faculty of Business Administration (FOBA) contributes to the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Institutional Repository by providing scholarly, academic, and professional outputs in the field of communication, business writing, corporate communication, and organizational discourse. In line with the MUBS Institutional Repository Policy, this sub-community supports the collection, preservation, and global dissemination of research outputs, including theses, dissertations, journal articles, conference papers, and instructional materials. The repository serves as a strategic platform to enhance research visibility, promote open access, and ensure long-term digital preservation of intellectual output produced within the department.

Repository Growth: The Department of Business Communications continues to expand its digital collections, contributing to increased global visibility of MUBS research outputs. Open Access Commitment: All eligible research outputs are being deposited in line with open access principles to enhance accessibility and citation impact. Student Submissions: Postgraduate students are reminded to submit final approved dissertations to the repository within the required timelines. Capacity Building: Ongoing training sessions are being conducted to support staff and students in metadata submission, licensing, and repository use. Compliance Updates: New guidelines on copyright, AI-generated content disclosure, and embargo management have been implemented to ensure ethical and legal compliance.
