Department of Accounting

Within the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Commerce at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), intellectual and academic outputs are collected, preserved, and disseminated through the Department of Accounting Institutional Repository sub-community. In accordance with MUBS's Institutional Repository Policy, this sub-community promotes open access to research, instructional materials, theses, dissertations, policy briefs, and other scholarly outputs. It promotes national and international information exchange while improving the visibility, discoverability, and long-term preservation of accounting-related knowledge. The repository ensures that academic work from the Department of Accounting is accessible, reusable, and internationally discoverable by adhering to worldwide open science standards, including the FAIR principles and UNESCO Open Science recommendations.
