    Circular Economy Practices, Stakeholder Involvement and Public Procurement Performance: A Case of Procuring and Disposing Entities in Uganda.

    The study sought to examine the relationship between stakeholder involvement, circular economy practices and procurement performance in Ugandan Procuring and Disposing Entities. The study sought to address the following research objectives; To examine the relationship between stakeholder involvement and procurement performance, circular economy practices and procurement, and the combined effect of stakeholder involvement and circular economy practices on procurement performance. The study employed a quantitative cross-sectional survey research design coupled with a quantitative approach which involved managing the quantitative data. From the population of 245 procurement units from the Procurement and Disposal Entities, the study sought to get data from 150 PDEs using the rationale of Krejcie and Morgan (1970). The researcher acquired data from 141 entities out of the 150 indicating a response rate of 94.0%. The results for the relationships were presented using the Pearson (r) correlations. The Correlations indicated that the Stakeholder Involvement and the Circular Economy Practices were both positively related to the Procurement Performance. Stakeholder Involvement had a greater association with the Procurement Performance and effect on the Procurement Performance than the Circular Economy Practices and these two can account for a variance of the 26.3% in the dependent variable.
