    Procurement Planning, Supplier Evaluation and Service Delivery in Health Facilities (Hospitals) Of Mogadishu District Somalia.

    This study sought to establish the relationship between procurement planning, supplier evaluation and service delivery in health facilities (hospitals) of Mogadishu district Somalia. The study was based on the following research objectives: to examine the relationship between procurement planning and service delivery in Mogadishu health facilities, to examine the relationship between supplier evaluation and service delivery in Mogadishu health facilities, and to examine the combined effect of procurement planning and supplier evaluation on service delivery in Mogadishu health facilities. This study was carried out because Mogadishu district has continued to perform poorly service delivery. The study adopted a cross-sectional research design along with a quantitative research approach. In this study, the researcher distributed the questionnaire 40 hospitals and each hospital was given to 3 questionnaires (Accounting officer, a member of contracts committee (chair) and the head of the of procurement and disposal unit) which makes the total number 120 questionnaire. In above distributed number of questionnaires 94 were returned representing a percentage of 78%. The unit of analysis was the hospitals in the eighteen sub-districts of Mogadishu on the other hand, the unit of inquiry was staff in the selected hospitals and they were included; Accounting officer, A member of contracts committee (chair) and the head of the of procurement and disposal unit. These staff were choosing due to their decision-making role they play in the selected hospitals. The correlation coefficient results revealed positive significance relationship between procurement planning, supplier evaluation and service delivery in in health facilities (hospitals) of Mogadishu district Somalia. The recreation results indicated that procurement planning and supplier evaluation are significant predictors of service delivery, predicting 41.3% change in in the service delivery of in health facilities (hospitals) of Mogadishu district Somalia.
